Rank Your Games — Support

Rank Your Games uses a pairwise comparison method inspired by Flickchart. You're shown two games side-by-side and pick your favorite. Over time, these head-to-head choices build a personalized ranked list — no star ratings needed.

Elo is a mathematical rating system originally used in chess. Each game starts at a rating of 1500. When you pick a winner, the winner gains points and the loser loses points — how many depends on the difference in their current ratings. Games rise and fall naturally as you make more comparisons.

Rankings become more accurate with more comparisons. Generally, 10–20 comparisons per game produces reliable results. You can see each game's comparison count on the Rankings screen, and use Least Compared mode to prioritize games that need more data.

There are four modes to choose from:

• All Games — Compare any two games from your collection.
• Unranked Only — Focus on games with no comparisons yet.
• Top 20 — Refine rankings among your highest-rated games.
• Least Compared — Prioritize games that need more data.

Yes. Tap any ranked game in the Rankings screen to start a Re-ranking session. You'll compare that game against 5 random opponents from your collection, which updates its Elo rating based on your current opinions.

Use the Search tab to find games from a library of 200,000+ titles powered by IGDB. Tap a game to add it to your collection. You can also save games to your Wishlist to rank later.

The Wishlist lets you save games you're interested in before you're ready to rank them. Tap the heart icon on any game card or search result to add it. When you're ready, open the Wishlist and add a game to your ranked collection.

Yes. When you sign in with GitHub, your rankings and comparisons are saved to your account in the cloud via Supabase. Your data will be restored when you log in on a new device. Anonymous guest sessions are stored locally and may be lost if you uninstall the app.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, send an email to support@rankyourgamesapp.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We'll process your request within 30 days.
